‘Two Suspects Apprehended’ and Details Unveiled Following Theft of ‘Priceless’ Artifacts from Louvre

Two individuals have reportedly been apprehended in connection with the astonishing $100 million heist at the Louvre Museum, which has left the art community in shock.

As reported by Le Parisien, one of the suspects was caught attempting to board a flight to Algeria from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport on the evening of October 25.

The suspects are reportedly residents of Seine-Saint-Denis, an area in northeastern Paris, and they are suspected to be members of a four-person team responsible for the daring jewel theft.

The heist, which was meticulously orchestrated, took place in the heart of Paris in less than seven minutes last Sunday morning, on October 19.

The thieves targeted the renowned Galerie d’Apollon, which houses the French Crown Jewels, making off with nine historic pieces, including a necklace, a brooch, and a tiara from the Napoleon and French Sovereigns collection.
