An influencer’s remarks regarding the income she expects from a potential partner have sparked controversy.
In relationships, it’s common for both individuals to have certain expectations about their contributions, whether in terms of time, effort, or, for some, financial commitments.
For Chinese Kitty, an influencer, rapper, and former cast member of Love & Hip Hop, financial considerations play a significant role.
The Chinese-Guyanese personality from Queens, New York, recently appeared on The Justin Laboy Show, where her associations with rappers and athletes were discussed.
After discussing her beginnings as an underage dancer, she elaborated on her criteria for a partner, particularly focusing on their income.

Host Justin Laboy inquired about the annual earnings a man needs to have to be eligible to date her. Initially, she mentioned it shouldn’t be ‘less than me,’ but upon further probing, she revealed her actual standard.
Laboy questioned: “What’s the least amount of money a man could make per year to date Chinese?”
She responded: “People are going to be so mad at this. The least the least amount of money per year a man could make…it can’t be less than a million dollars.”
After Laboy suggested she was being overly modest, they revisited the topic.
“What’s the least amount of money a man could make- to really date- that I’ve dated? That I personally dated?
“No less than 10 million.”
Laboy acknowledged her candidness, saying: “There you go. That’s the answer we were waiting on. Period. You know what I’m saying? You got to spend a million on Kitty.”
She then justified her stance by noting the maintenance involved in dating someone like her.
She explained that a certain level of maintenance is necessary for dating a ‘pretty b****’.

“People don’t understand this. When you are a pretty b****, I don’t give a f*** if you was born that way or you made it that way. You are invested in facials, f****** massages, f***** fa- What the f*** did I say?”
She further mentioned the need for procedures like a BBL, hair care, and makeup, suggesting that men should be financially prepared to support these needs.
Chinese stated that pretty women are drawn to wealthy men, and vice versa.
As a result, she refuses to compromise on her standards.
Her comments have faced criticism on social media, with some users describing her expectations as excessive.
One user wrote: “she said facials, hair, nails, looking good to be a baddie to get a rich man…WOW I don’t know this young lady but God bless. Knowing your worth has nothing to do with material things.”
Another added: “Damn she the ULTIMATE final boss of the heaux.”
Yet another questioned: “How are you in your 30s with this childish mindset?”
Some, however, defended her position.
One supporter commented: “He asked some real good questions. Y’all may not have liked her answers but at least she told her truth.”
If she can attract such a partner, why not?
