Unusual findings have emerged after an accident near Nevada’s Area 51.
Situated in Nevada, over 120 miles from Las Vegas, Area 51 is known officially as the Nevada Test and Training Range. Presently, it serves as an open training area for the US Air Force, yet it has long been the center of conspiracy theories, particularly involving aliens and UFOs.
This likely contributes to the keen interest in a crash that occurred in September, just outside Area 51’s perimeter at Groom Lake.
In a statement, the 432nd Wing reported, “On September 23, 2025, an aircraft assigned to the 432nd Wing was involved in an incident with no fatalities or injuries.”
They added, “The site was secured and guarded until recovery and cleanup operations were completed on September 27th.”
Subsequent to the crash, both the Air Force and the FBI have disclosed that they are probing ‘tampering’ at the location following the event.

The official release indicated, “During a follow-on site survey on October 3rd, investigators discovered signs of tampering at the mishap location, including the presence of an inert training bomb body and an aircraft panel of unknown origin that were placed on the site post-incident.”
They further mentioned, “The matter is under investigation by Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI) and the FBI. No further details are available at this time.”

Joerg Amu, who operates the monitoring website DreamlandResort.com, informed KLAS TV that he was tuned into the radio traffic when he noted the base had been secured.
Amu recounted, “I had my cup of coffee, and I am listening to Area 51 security, and all of the sudden they got very serious, and locked down the base,” recalling he heard, ‘We just had an asset go down. We had an asset go down’.
He continued, “This is not Creech security. This is Area 51 security, and they had an asset go down. Then the next thing you hear, UAV, unmanned aircraft, unmanned aircraft with ordnance.”

Amu noted that when he approached the crash zone, he encountered armed deputies and military personnel blocking every access route.
Upon his return later, he discovered that the site was covered under a thick coat of dirt.
He remains dubious about the Creech Air Force’s comments on the ‘unmanned aircraft’ and ‘tampering’.
“That’s absolutely bogus,” he stated.
“I think that was designed to make people not go there, discourage people from going there.”
