Airline CEO Addresses Abrupt Closure and Mass Flight Cancellations

The CEO of an airline has made a public statement following the abrupt closure of his company.

This airline, which had been serving the US for 64 years, stopped all operations on Monday (November 3).

Kenai Aviation provided services across Southcentral Alaska, including flights to Anchorage, Kenai, Homer, and Unalakleet.

Joel Caldwell, the head of the airline, took to social media to explain the unexpected shutdown.

He pointed to ‘financial insolvency’ as the cause for the airline’s closure.
