Details surrounding the final hours of a 33-year-old woman who died under mysterious circumstances on a yacht in August have been uncovered.
The incident unfolded in the upscale Montauk area over the summer, when news broke of a young woman found unconscious on a yacht.
This vessel was moored at the Montauk Yacht Club, with Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, also known professionally as Nolan, onboard.
Bystanders attempted CPR upon discovering her, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead by emergency responders.
At the time of her death, police released a statement: “Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, 33, of Manhattan, New York, was pronounced dead on the boat by First Responders.
“The preliminary investigation and exam were inconclusive regarding the cause of death, which will be determined by an autopsy conducted by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.”

An initial autopsy indicated there were no signs of foul play. The official cause of Nolan’s death remains undetermined pending toxicology, histology, and additional tests, reported the Mirror.
As authorities continue to investigate her death, New York Magazine has published insights into Nolan’s final hours and her last text messages.
On August 4, the day before her passing, Nolan met with Christopher Durnan, an external investor in her fashion label East x East, according to the magazine.
The pair arranged to meet on Durnan’s boat at 7:30pm at the Montauk Yacht Club. They set sail, sipping champagne while enjoying the sunset, the report indicates.
A few hours later, concerns arose among Nolan’s friends about her whereabouts, prompting them to use Find My to locate her. Her position appeared in the ocean.

One friend jokingly messaged the group: “lmao. I’m sure her phone died. Or maybe she’s dead.”
Ten minutes later, Nolan responded: “Lol i’m at the yacht club now, my phone is on.”
Tragically, approximately an hour later, Nolan was found dead under circumstances that have not yet been clarified. As of November 7, no arrests have been made in connection with her demise.
In an interview with New York Magazine, Dylan Grace, Nolan’s business partner at East x East, spoke of her affinity for high-end experiences.
“She liked boats, she liked private planes. She always loved the nice hotels,” Grace commented. “She kind of liked the lifestyle, and I think it motivated her to keep grinding.
“She was manifesting a beautiful and luxurious life.”
