Trump Reverses Course on Epstein Documents with Surprising Message to Democrats Following Explosive Email Allegations

Donald Trump has significantly altered his position on the Epstein files, moving away from his previous reluctance to have the documents released.

Recently, the Oversight Committee disclosed documents as part of its ongoing investigation into Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex offender.

The documents unveiled that Trump was frequently mentioned in exchanges between Epstein and Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.

Despite once being friends with Epstein, Trump has consistently asserted that he was unaware of his criminal activities.

Initially, Trump resisted calls for the release of the Epstein files but has now reversed his stance, declaring ‘I do not care’ and encouraging Republicans in Congress to support making the files public.

On Truth Social, Trump expressed: “House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide.

“And it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat ‘Shutdown.'”

His extensive statement also stated: “The House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to, I DON’T CARE! All I do care about is that Republicans get BACK ON POINT, which is the Economy, ‘Affordability’.

“Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive and, if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory. Some ‘members’ of the Republican Party are being ‘used’, and we can’t let that happen.”

Epstein died in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York City, in August 2019. He had been arrested earlier that year and passed away at the age of 66 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The recently released emails included a message from Epstein to author Michael Wolff, in which Epstein alleged that Trump ‘knew about the girls’

Epstein wrote: “[Victim name – redacted] mara lago. [redacted]. trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever. . of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.”

Trump has consistently denied any knowledge of Epstein’s sex trafficking activities and claimed that their relationship ended long before Epstein’s arrest and subsequent charges.

After the emails were leaked, and Trump’s name came up, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt commented: “The Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump.

“These stories are nothing more than bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense sees right through this hoax and clear distraction from the government opening back up again.”
