Kim Kardashian has shared an emotional moment on social media where she discovered she hadn’t passed the bar exam.
Known for her role as a top divorce lawyer in the legal drama All’s Fair, Kim has aspired to become a lawyer for about six years, inspired by her late father, Robert Kardashian.
However, her ambitions were again thwarted when she did not pass the difficult California bar exam, a requirement to practice law in the state.
Given the nature of the exam, it is expected to be very challenging. Kim commented that she studied ‘four months straight’ and fully dedicated herself in hopes of passing.
Unfortunately, she did not achieve the necessary score and was visibly upset, particularly with a certain group of individuals.

In a message sent to her friends while preparing for the day, she expressed frustration: “I’m just letting you guys know that all these f**king psychics that we have met with and that were obsessed with, are all f**king full of sh*t.”
Continuing, she stated: “They’ve all collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was going to pass the bar. So they’re all full pathological liars, don’t believe anything they say.”
Reflecting on her rigorous study regimen, she shared in an Instagram video: “I’ve been studying for four months straight, canceled all work, don’t take any work calls, I don’t really do anything except for being a mom and studying.”
Kim has been on a lengthy journey to pass the bar exam, having previously succeeded in the less challenging ‘baby bar’ exam.
“I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying – the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” she wrote in her post.
“On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end,” she added.
“This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”
In her Instagram stories, she confirmed her commitment, stating: “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar.

“No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.”
She plans to retake the exam in California in February 2026, aiming to achieve a score of at least 1390 to pass.
“Falling short isn’t a failure – It’s fuel,” she said. “I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!!!!!”
