Logan Paul abruptly left his podcast during a recent episode featuring Tana Mongeau as a guest.
Mongeau, who is also a YouTube personality, appeared on an episode that was released on November 21.
The episode’s description on YouTube hints at discussions between Mongeau, Paul, and Mike Majlak about Anthony Joshua’s upcoming match against Jake Paul, the anticipated return of Vine, and Majlak allegedly reserving a sex robot…
However, a topic that wasn’t thoroughly addressed was the criticism Paul faced after a controversial video he filmed in Japan.
In 2017, Paul and his crew visited the Aokigahara forest near Mount Fuji. This forest is often described as ‘haunted’ due to its association with numerous suicides.

During the filming, Paul encountered a deceased individual and included close-up footage of the apparent suicide victim.
The group was visibly startled but also made jokes, an act which many criticized as being highly insensitive. The decision to show the body was met with widespread disapproval.
Paul later expressed regret for uploading the video, stating he was sorry for his actions.
“I should have never posted the video,” Paul stated at the time. “I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through.”
He further admitted to feeling ‘disappointed’ and ‘ashamed’ of his actions, leading to the eventual removal of the video from his channel.
In the podcast, Paul was recounting an event where one of the world’s strongest men played tug-of-war with some children and was defeated by them.
Majlak then signaled Mongeau to bring up the 2017 incident, using the conversation about the rope as a segue.
Paul realized their intention, prompting Mongeau to clarify: “Mike is being really silly right now. ‘Rope’ is a good time for me to make my classic suicide forest joke on Impaulsive, and he [Majlak] tried to lay me up.”
Mongeau went on to say she hesitated to mention it, sensing Paul might not be receptive to such jokes, though she also called him ‘low-hanging fruit’ with an unintended pun.
At this point, Paul pushed the microphone aside, covered his face with his hands, and exited the podcast set.
Mongeau and Majlak laughed as Paul, who has transitioned from YouTube to wrestling, left the scene.
To appease him, Mongeau agreed to drink a Prime and promote his brand.
