Chilling 4-word reply from student who stabbed classmate 19 times to ‘please Slender Man’ during arrest

Morgan Geyser startled police with a chilling response when she was detained on Sunday evening.

On Saturday, November 22, Geyser fled from her group home, removing her ankle monitor in the process.

Geyser is infamously known as one of the two students who attacked their classmate, Payton Leutner, stabbing her 19 times in a Waukesha, Wisconsin forest. The motive behind this attack was reportedly to ‘please the Slender Man’.

Remarkably, Leutner survived the assault that occurred in 2014.

Both Geyser and her co-defendant, Anissa Weier, faced charges of first-degree attempted intentional homicide.

In 2018, Geyser was sentenced to 40 years in a mental health institution but was released earlier this year to a group home after three psychologists deemed her ready for supervised release.

Part of Geyser’s release conditions included wearing a monitoring bracelet.

After her recent escape, she was located by authorities the next evening.

She was found at Thornton’s truck stop with another individual, and both were taken into custody around 10:30 pm on Sunday, November 23. They were discovered sleeping on the sidewalk.

When approached by officers, Geyser advised them to ‘Google [her]’.

“The female repeatedly refused to provide her real name and initially gave a false one,” police stated regarding the 23-year-old.

“After continuous attempts to identify her, she finally admitted that she didn’t want to disclose her identity because she had ‘done something really bad,’ and suggested that officers could ‘just Google’ her name.”

After doing so, the officers learned Geyser was wanted for fleeing her group home.

The male companion found with Geyser has not been identified but was reportedly charged with criminal trespassing and obstructing identification, according to ABC7 News.

The unnamed 42-year-old man has since been released. Authorities have not provided information on his potential involvement in Geyser’s escape from the group home.

It remains unclear whether Geyser will face additional charges.

During Geyser’s time at large, a representative for Leutner and her family released a statement to reassure the public of their safety.

“Payton Leutner and her family are aware of the most recent situation regarding Morgan Geyser,” the family’s spokesperson told ABC News.

“Payton and her family are safe and are working closely with local law enforcement to ensure their continued safety.”

The representative also expressed gratitude, stating: “The Leutner family also wish to thank the outpouring of support from family, friends, and well-wishers who have contacted them during this difficult time.”
