Podcaster Bobbi Althoff finally responds to persistent rumors she’s ‘ran through’ post-divorce

Bobbi Althoff has addressed the distressing comments she receives on her videos in a heartfelt message.

The podcaster shared that she has been in a new relationship for about a year following her separation from her former partner.

Known for her podcast, The Very Good Podcast, which includes popular interviews with celebrities like Drake, Bobbi experiences a flood of misogynistic comments about her personal life whenever she uploads a video to her social media accounts.

In particular, she highlighted comments that suggest she is ‘run through’, a derogatory term implying she has been with many men.

Bobbi addressed these offensive comments, which often include personal attacks, in an emotional TikTok video.

“If I post any video in general the amount of hate comments I get is unreal,” she expressed.

Despite her efforts to ignore the comments, Bobbi admitted that their volume and harshness make it difficult to remain unaffected.

“As much as I wish that these comments didn’t get to me, I’m human,” she admitted. “If you got this many negative things said about you every day, it would get to you, too.”

She shared some of the accusations she faces online.

“They say I sleep with every guest. Literally, I do not, but you won’t ever believe that,” she noted.

Bobbi mentioned that these comments escalate when she discusses her relationship status.

“We’ve been together for a year, but without fail, every single time I post him, all the comments are about how I’m ‘ran through’ and, ‘Oh, look, another one,’ or, ‘He probably doesn’t know how ran through she is’,” she said. “Just mean, mean things.”

She continued: “I’m not with my ex anymore, and he’s in a happy relationship. Why can’t I be in one too? He gave me the two best things in my life, and I will forever be grateful for that.”

Bobbi also discussed how the comments affect her view of her family life.

“I tried to tell myself those [comments] don’t matter, but then I’m a horrible mother,” she said. “I am such a good mother. Anyone who knows me in real life knows I’m an amazing mother, and my kids I care so much about.”

She clarified that she is not seeking sympathy but wants to raise awareness about how hurtful comments can directly impact someone.

“I’m saying this because I hope if you’re one of the people who hate me, maybe you’ll watch this and reconsider it,” she said. “And maybe that’s asking for too much. Maybe that’s an impossible ask.”
