Amazon Fire Stick owners, including those with the 4K Max version that is currently available online at a 42 percent discount, can trade it in for a financial reward.
By exchanging your old device, you can receive a 20 percent discount on a qualified Fire TV device and an Amazon gift card, as outlined on their website.

One customer who recently traded in their old device shared a positive review of their experience.
“I got this after I started having issues with my previous Fire TV Stick 4K Max. That device would freeze and sometimes just stop responding (maybe planned obsolescence ?) making it very frustrating to use,” they noted.
“I can say this new stick is much more responsive than the device it was replacing. I have a WiFi router in the same room, so I do not get any buffering.”

They also mentioned that the new model ‘responds well to voice commands’ and concluded it was a ‘great purchase’.
“I was able to use my old device as a trade-in, so got both a trade-in value for the old device and got a 20% discount on this new stick,” they enthusiastically shared.
More than 10,000 people have purchased the new Amazon Fire TV 4K Max stick in the past month, enjoying an ‘enhanced entertainment experience’ as a result.
Available for $34.99, this model offers ‘smarter search’ with Alexa, streams your favorite shows in 4K Ultra HD from Netflix and Prime Video, and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos audio.
While typically priced at $59.99, the discounted Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max boasts a variety of features, including:
Earlier this month, Amazon announced that it would be blocking Fire Stick apps that enable users to illegally stream content like Stranger Things and Apple TV’s Pluribus, as well as sports events such as Premier League football.
According to a Tech Radar report, there will be a device-level ban on piracy apps to combat unauthorized streaming.

“Piracy is illegal and we’ve always worked to block it from our app store… We’ll now block apps identified as providing access to pirated content, including those downloaded from outside our app store,” a spokesperson told The Atlantic.
“This builds on our ongoing efforts to support creators and protect customers, as piracy can also expose users to malware, viruses, and fraud.”
