A chilling Easter egg has been discovered within a phone number on a ‘missing teen’ poster in Stranger Things.
The groundbreaking Netflix series is gearing up for its concluding season this year, and as is common with final seasons, it will be divided into multiple segments.
Netflix is pushing this concept even further with Stranger Things by splitting the finale into more than the usual two parts. Stranger Things 5: Volume 1 will premiere on 26 November, Volume 2 will be available on Christmas Day, and the ultimate finale will air on New Year’s Eve.
The release of Volume 1 has concluded, leaving viewers eager for more content to satisfy their craving for Stranger Things until the next segment arrives at Christmas.
One aspect of the first season features an intriguing detail that has captured the attention of fans.
This detail is a poster of Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven, listed as ‘Jane Hopper’, which reads ‘reward for location of missing child’. The poster includes a phone number for anyone with information to contact regarding the ‘missing teen’.
Fans were thrilled to discover that when they dialed the number, which includes an Indiana area code reflecting the show’s setting, it actually connected them to a message. This message provides a small hint about the show.

The message further mentions the search for the missing ‘Jane’, which began at the start of season 5.
It states: “The Hawkins Emergency Task Force is working closely with the Hawkins PD to track down missing persons, of which Jane Hopper is a priority.”
“We urge you, as a responsible citizen of Hawkins, to assist in our search to locate her.”
The call then ends. Quite suspenseful, indeed.
