Kim Kardashian in Tears Over Kanye West’s Shocking Claim About Her 2016 Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her ex-husband Kanye West’s shocking remarks regarding her 2016 robbery in Paris, which left her feeling deeply hurt.

Back in October 2016, the reality TV star found herself in a terrifying situation when a group of robbers broke into her hotel room at the upscale No Address Hotel in Paris during Fashion Week.

Kardashian faced a harrowing experience where she was bound, held at gunpoint, and robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry while fearing for her life.

Dressed only in a robe, she experienced a genuine fear of being sexually assaulted.

Now, the mother of four has shared how West’s comments felt like “a knife to my heart.”

In May, she had to recount the traumatic event to jurors during a court appearance.

Viewers got an inside look into this ordeal during the Thursday night episode of The Kardashians (December 4).

The show captured Kardashian’s raw emotions as she dealt with skepticism surrounding the robbery, including from her then-husband, Kanye West.

The couple began their relationship in 2012 and welcomed their daughter North West in 2013.

They married in a grand ceremony in Florence, Italy, in 2014 and had three more children: Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

However, their relationship began to deteriorate in 2016 as West’s behavior became increasingly erratic.

Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Doctors claimed she suffered a brain aneurysm due to the stress of the divorce, which was finalized in November 2022.

Reflecting on West’s remarks about the robbery, Kardashian said: “My ex-husband had said, ‘And you faked your robbery for a TV show,’ and had said that in front of all these people.”

She became emotional, saying, “That was a knife to my heart… Just to think that someone wouldn’t believe you – that’s so close to you, that should know you, that should know how much that affected your life.”

“It just really bothered me. You don’t know who I am.”

She also reflected on the ordeal of having to relive her trauma while testifying during the trial.

“This was less than 10 minutes of my life. I’ve lived an amazing life,” she said, offering insight into her perspective.

“That’s always given me a little bit of peace, just to know – what was it? Nine, ten minutes? – of pure terror and panic aren’t going to ruin me.”

In court, eight out of the ten defendants were found guilty, including seven men and one woman.

They received sentences of up to eight years in prison for their roles in the crime.

The Kardashians is currently available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
