Brazilian mystic Athos Salomé, who has been referred to as the ‘Living Nostradamus’, has issued a dire warning alongside a 2026 prediction that worries him the most.
As the year draws to a close, many people tend to reflect on their achievements, set goals for the upcoming months, and ensure everything is in order before the clock strikes midnight on December 31.
Conversely, some individuals prefer to pay attention to predictions made by self-proclaimed prophecy experts about events that could unfold in the next year.
Among the prominent figures people turn to for insights are: Nostradamus, the renowned French astrologer known for his prophetic book Les Prophetiés; Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian seer reputed for foretelling calamities like the Chernobyl disaster; and Athos Salomé, a psychic who asserts he predicted major events such as the Coronavirus pandemic.

During a conversation with another publication, Salomé shared his fear regarding a potential occurrence in 2026: powerful solar storms.
He anticipates that this space weather event might occur in early March 2026 and bases this prophecy on what he describes as ‘consistent evidence’.
“Since 2024, there has been a peak in solar activity with a clear trend towards increasing instability. This isn’t exaggerated language; it reflects a very real physical risk that grows each month,” Salomé stated.
He explained, “From my perspective, solar storms appear to be the most plausible scenario capable of having a direct impact on daily life, supported by solid scientific backing.

“This deserves full attention, not out of fear, but due to measurable signals aligning with potential power cuts, communication failures, and technological disruptions in affected regions.”
The forecaster acknowledged other potential challenges for 2026, such as ‘geopolitical tension, global instability, and economic pressure’, which follow smaller and longer cycles, unlike solar activity that arrives ‘quickly, without much warning’.
He concluded, “This is why I see it as one of the most critical and high-risk periods for 2026.”
In another discussion, Salomé warned that solar storms might lead to widespread disruption and significant power outages.
NASA defines a solar storm as a sudden explosion of particles, magnetic fields, and other debris released by the Sun into the solar system. When such an event targets Earth, it can adversely affect the planet’s magnetic field, leading to potential blackouts. However, the agency notes that the event is unlikely to directly harm individuals.
Earth has witnessed solar storms in the past, most notably The Carrington Event in September 1859.

This event remains the most intense geomagnetic storm recorded, known for its spectacular auroral displays and causing fires in telegraph stations, according to the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska.
Salomé’s predictions have been supported by scientific observations, with reports indicating that a solar event is currently unfolding.
The solar cycle that began in November 2024 is expected to end in March 2026. NASA explains that every 11 years, the Sun undergoes a transformation from a calm to an active, stormy phase as its magnetic poles flip.
The Living Nostradamus also foresees other potential occurrences in 2026 beyond solar storms.
He previously mentioned that some of the world’s major powers, such as China and Russia, might instigate World War III, and a new deadly disease could cause widespread chaos.
While not specifying the likelihood of another pandemic similar to COVID-19, Salomé emphasized the importance of ‘Global monitoring,’ particularly given the EU’s expedited authorization of a modified mRNA vaccine.
Quite a lot to anticipate, albeit with some trepidation!
