Kyle Rittenhouse has made a return to Twitter to share some personal news.
Back in 2020, Rittenhouse, who was a teenager at the time, faced multiple charges including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, an attempted homicide charge, and two counts of reckless endangerment.
These charges stemmed from a shooting incident involving three men in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020, two of whom tragically lost their lives. This occurred during a period of civil unrest.
The men were participating in a Black Lives Matter protest against police brutality in the United States, following an incident where Jacob Blake, an African American man from Wisconsin, was shot by a white police officer, leaving him paralyzed.
At the age of 17, Rittenhouse traveled from his hometown of Antioch, Illinois, to Kenosha with a friend. They claimed their intention was to protect a local dealership from potential vandalism by protestors, as reported by The Independent.

Armed with a semi-automatic AR-15-style rifle, Rittenhouse used the weapon during an altercation with some protesters. The shooting resulted in the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, while Gaige Grosskreutz was injured.
Rittenhouse maintained that he acted in self-defense, and in November 2021, a jury acquitted him of all charges.
On the day of the verdict, his defense attorney, Mark Richards, expressed to NPR: “He has a huge sense of relief for what the jury did to him today. He wishes none of this would have ever happened, but as he said when he testified, he did not start this.”
“To say that we’re relieved would be a gross misunderstatement,” he added.
Four years after the legal proceedings, Rittenhouse is reportedly employed at a gun shop in Florida. He’s also launched a YouTube channel named Tactically Inappropriate, which has nearly 75,000 subscribers.
While he’s been active on other social media platforms, he recently returned to Twitter, where he shared that he got married six months ago.
On December 10, he wrote: “I’m back on social media, I’m back in the fight, and I’m here to stay.”
Alongside wedding photos, he added: “For a quick update, 6 months ago I made the best decision of my life and married my best friend,@BellRittenhouse, I couldn’t be happier. I love you beautiful.”
He also mentioned that more significant announcements are forthcoming.
