In May 2023, Swift was spotted with Matty Healy after attending a 1975 concert, sparking rumors of a new romance.
However, this relationship reportedly ended abruptly just a month later in June 2023, coinciding with the early stages of her global tour.
With the Eras Tour concluded, Disney+ has released a docuseries titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, providing fans with an exclusive look behind the scenes.
In one revealing segment, Swift discusses her experiences following the breakups with both Alwyn and Healy during the early period of her tour.
“There were points in this tour where the tour was really the only thing keeping me going in my life,” Swift explained. “But there were never points in the tour where I thought, ‘Oh I want to quit the tour because the tour is hard.’ No, my personal life was hard.”
She continued, “I went through two breakups on the first half of this tour. That’s a lot of breakups, actually. This show is what gave me purpose and what I could use to get me out of bed.”
“The tour has never been the hard thing in my life. The tour has been the thing that allowed me to find purpose outside of the s**t that was going on in my life,” she said.
Wrapping up her thoughts, Swift poignantly added, “Men will let you down, the Eras Tour never will.”
Swift is now happily engaged to Kelce, and the power couple shared their exciting news in August.
The engagement was announced with a series of Instagram photos, one of which featured Kelce proposing on one knee amidst a garden filled with flowers.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift captioned, using a clever analogy to describe their professions.
