Authorities have unveiled the items seized during their pursuit of former Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding after conducting multiple raids in Mexico.
Ryan Wedding, once a representative for Canada in the Olympic Games, was placed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list as of March 2025.
The 44-year-old is allegedly involved in ‘operating a transnational drug trafficking organization that shipped large quantities of cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico and Southern California, to Canada and various U.S. locations’.
Additionally, Wedding is accused of orchestrating numerous murders, including the assassination of a government witness in January. The FBI has announced a $15,000,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
“Wedding transitioned from Olympic snowboarding to distributing cocaine on the streets of U.S. cities and Canada,” stated Akil Davis, Assistant Director of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office.
It is believed that Wedding is hiding in Mexico, prompting the FBI to conduct raids on four properties recently. These operations resulted in the confiscation of various high-priced possessions believed to belong to the former athlete.

According to local officials, the following items were seized by the FBI:
Although Wedding remains at large, Ken Gray, a former FBI agent and senior lecturer at the University of New Haven, views the FBI’s recent actions as a ‘significant step’ toward his capture.
“Even though they haven’t captured Ryan Wedding in these operations, it signifies a major advancement, indicating that Mexican authorities are now seriously engaged and are actively searching for Ryan Wedding and dismantling his network,” he explained to CTV News.
FBI Director Kash Patel recently drew comparisons between Wedding and two of the most notorious drug lords of recent times.
“Make no mistake,” he declared. “Ryan Wedding is akin to a modern-day Escobar and Guzmán. He is accountable for creating a narco-trafficking and narco-terrorism scheme that is unprecedented in recent history.”
Those who might have information about Wedding’s location are encouraged to contact the FBI via WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram (platforms not operated or controlled by the government) at (424) 495-0614.
