Big Brother’s Mickey Lee Passes Away at 35 Following Multiple Cardiac Arrests

Mickey Lee, a participant in the latest season of Big Brother, has passed away at the age of 35 after experiencing multiple cardiac arrests, as confirmed by her family in an official statement.

The event curator quickly gained the affection of viewers during her time on the 27th season of the popular reality show. Unfortunately, her life was tragically cut short on Christmas Day when she endured a series of cardiac arrests.

Her family shared the heartbreaking news of her passing on December 26 through a heartfelt tribute on social media.

In an Instagram post, they stated: “With profound sadness, the family of Mickey Lee announces her transition on Christmas in the early evening.”

“Mickey captivated the hearts of audiences nationwide with her appearance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike.”

“She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed on and offscreen.”

This devastating news follows reports earlier in the week that Lee had become ill and was receiving treatment at a hospital.

A GoFundMe page created to help raise funds for her treatment disclosed that the former contestant was in a ‘critical but stable condition’ after experiencing a series of cardiac arrests.

At that time, her family members were hopeful about her recovery, acknowledging that she faced a ‘long road ahead’.

In their description, Mickey’s family portrayed her as having a ‘vibrant, strategic, and unforgettable personality’.

They also highlighted her ability to ‘capture the attention of fans with her energy, authenticity, and bold gameplay.’

Lee achieved a 10th place finish overall in the competition, with Ashley Hollis claiming the final victory.

In the wake of her passing, fans have been inundating social media with messages of sympathy as they reflect on Lee’s brief life.

One fan expressed: “Mickey Lee captured our hearts this past summer on #BB27, and her kindness, strength, and spirit will never be forgotten. She passed on Christmas Day. Rest in peace. Sending love and prayers to her family, friends, and cast mates.”

Rachel Reilly Villegas, a former Big Brother housemate, paid tribute to her fellow contestant in a statement to the Daily Mail: “I hate this so much – I am in shock – I don’t even feel like I should have a comment because it isn’t about me, my heart goes out to her family and lifelong friends – my heart is broken by this news.”

“Big Brother doesn’t just give you castmates – it gives you family. I’m forever grateful I got to share that house and that experience with Mickey. We walked into the Big Brother house as strangers and walked out bonded for life.”
