Travis Barker’s daughter, Alabama Barker, has responded to detractors following criticism over a personal Christmas gift from her father, which some labeled as ‘inappropriate’.
Alabama, aged 20, disclosed that the Blink 182 drummer gifted her several items from the lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, as she showcased her birthday and Christmas gifts, igniting a debate online.
Celebrating her birthday on Christmas Eve, Alabama shared a nearly nine-minute TikTok video displaying her luxury haul, valued at around $200,000, including designer shoes, handbags, jewelry, and upscale lingerie.
The manner in which she introduced the revealing garments sparked controversy.
“So my dad went a little crazy at Agent Provocateur,” Alabama stated in the original video, noting that Kourtney Kardashian, her stepmother, assisted in selecting most of the items.

“Kourtney picked out most of it and then the girl knows me there, so she like gave recommendations of what I liked.”
The idea of a father purchasing lingerie for his daughter did not sit well with many online users.
Comments included sentiments like, ‘I could never imagine my parents, especially my dad, buying me lingerie,’ and ‘that’s inappropriate and never an acceptable gift from a parent to a female child at any age.’
In response to these critics, Alabama launched into a passionate 33-second rant.
“Hold on, hold on, I have to go on a f***ing rant! Why the f***, why the f***, are you guys trying to make this laundrette thing a thing – it’s never going to be a thing Gretchen!” she expressed in her fervent TikTok posted last night (December 29), referencing the 2004 romcom Mean Girls.
“Kourtney picked out the laundrette, Kourtney! You think my dad’s like, ‘oh I’m going to pick my daughter’s laundrette’? No. It was on my Christmas list and he wanted to make it happen for me so he let Kourtney go pick out the laundrette.
“God forbid a girl wanted cute panties and bras. Like literally, leave me alone. I’m literally never going to do another Christmas haul again.”
Clearly frustrated, she concluded: “I hate you guys, I hate you guys. The poochie is nasty.”
Despite the criticism, some fans have defended Alabama, suggesting that a personal shopper was involved due to the number of gifts she received.
Comments from Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s representatives have been sought regarding this matter.
