The latest episodes of Stranger Things have provided fans with a lot to discuss as they prepare for the two-hour finale set to release on Netflix tomorrow (December 31).
Even before the finale has been aired, fans are already clamoring for Netflix to unveil unaired footage from the series.
Currently, more than 350,000 individuals have signed a petition requesting this unseen footage. The petition reads: “We want the unseen footage of Stranger Things. I believe there was more to the episodes and we didn’t see them either due to Netflix or the team of Stranger Things cutting them.”
Another issue some viewers have noted in the latest season is an error made by the series’ editors. While many viewers, like myself, have been trying to recall events from season four and searching for details on characters like Vecna, other fans spotted a subtle mistake…
The error involves an Under Armour logo on Holly Wheeler’s jacket, a detail that is out of place in a series set in the 1980s, as Under Armour was not founded until 1996.
One Reddit user noted: “In S5 E7; ‘The Bridge’ I spotted an Under Armour logo on Holly’s undershirt while she is struggling to free herself after waking back up in her physical body. S5 takes place in 1987 and a quick Google search shows that Under Armour wasn’t founded until 1996.”
The user continued: “I’ve read somewhere that the Duffers have stated that everything is intentional down to wardrobe choices, but this just seems like an accidental wardrobe malfunction to me.”
It seems this observation was accurate, as Netflix has quietly edited the episode to remove the logo.
Viewers on TikTok have shared clips of the original error, showing that Netflix has since corrected it, removing the logo altogether.

Another development in season five that has stirred fan reactions is the breakup of Nancy and Jonathan.
