Tensions have been rising between Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers following their separation.

The actress, known for her role in Wild Things, married Phypers in 2018. They parted ways in June, and by July, Phypers had filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ after six years of marriage.

A source previously revealed to Us Weekly regarding their marital issues: “They love each other, but they haven’t been happy. He filed for divorce, but she can’t continue like this either.”

Phypers claimed in the divorce documents that Richards earns approximately $250,000 monthly through OnlyFans, brand deals, and other ventures, while he has faced financial difficulties after closing his business in October 2024.

As a result, the 52-year-old is reportedly requesting spousal support from Richards.

Following their split, Richards reportedly moved out of their rented Calabasas home in Los Angeles. However, both she and Phypers have now been officially evicted from the six-bedroom, five-bathroom property, which spans 6,985 square feet.

The property’s owner, John Karan, initiated legal proceedings against the couple in November, ultimately receiving court approval to reclaim the home.

On December 26, a Los Angeles Superior Court clerk approved Karan’s request for Richards and Phypers to vacate the premises entirely.

Karan accused the couple of failing to pay rent for several months. According to US Weekly, they had signed a lease in 2020 with an agreement to pay $12,000 per month.

Karan is seeking $84,000 in unpaid rent from the pair. However, a judge has not yet issued a decision on any potential damages.

On November 7, the same day Karan filed his lawsuit, Richards was granted a five-year restraining order against her estranged husband, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Richards alleged that Phypers had physically abused her during their marriage before the restraining order was granted.

Court documents revealed: “Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages.”

Phypers later denied these allegations in court, as reported by USA Today in October.
