A man who believes he has the ‘world’s smallest penis’ has revealed how his life has been affected by this condition.
While penis size is often discussed, it’s important to note that it isn’t everything. Interestingly, the average penis size in the US is around 5.5 inches, which is smaller than what many would expect.
Despite this, numerous men seem to claim sizes of eight inches on dating apps, creating a puzzling discrepancy that remains unresolved.
For individuals like 38-year-old Michael Phillips, the insecurity and societal stigma surrounding penis size can be particularly challenging.
Michael’s size is considerably below the average, measuring only 0.38 inches, and this has significantly impacted his life.
Residing in North Carolina, Michael discussed the difficulties his size has presented.
“Just more keeping it to myself, I was younger, teen, twenties, and stuff like that I tried to keep it to myself,” he explained.
“I was always single, even though I had friends they probably wondered why I wasn’t dating. I just didn’t want to go through that,” he continued.
Michael mentioned, “I kept it pretty secret. There were a few girlfriends like in high school or whatever they knew about it, but as far as I know it never got around.”
Building relationships has been another area of difficulty, and Michael has experimented with various strategies, yet he remains single.
“I’ve probably tried every way possible,” he noted.
“You can be upfront like right at the beginning, you can try to talk to somebody for a while, get a connection and then tell them, or sometimes you don’t say nothing at all,” he explained.
When asked if he believes he will find a long-term partner, Michael responded: “I believe so. Since I started talking about it, you don’t really get the perspective of women unless it’s brought out there, and there’s been a few stories about me and I’ve read comments and I’ve learned that there’s a huge population of people that just don’t care about that sort of thing.”
While many might initially think of its impact on his romantic life, Michael clarified that the challenges extend beyond that.
“Like I can’t go out and have a one night stand,” he said. “But it also affects you with your ability to use the restroom, your confidence.
“Even sitting down can be tricky, with cleanup and everything,” he added.
