Gigi Hadid’s latest appearance leaves fans baffled and ignites widespread online discussion

Gigi Hadid stirred up quite the commotion by altering her signature appearance, leaving fans divided in their opinions.

As a longstanding figure in the world of fashion and style, it’s surprising to see any of her style choices spark criticism. Yet, that seems to be the case now, as online reactions have centered around a seemingly minor detail.

Known for her blonde, sun-kissed beauty, Gigi recently decided to embrace a different look for the New Year, and viewers are perplexed by her decision.

The 30-year-old unveiled her new hairstyle on social media, showcasing a dark bob.

Initially, her followers on Instagram applauded the transformation, celebrating the fresh new style.

However, some fans have debated the description of her hairstyle, leading to mixed opinions.

The controversy arose when her stylist, Dimitris, posted a photo with the caption: “GIGI HADID ‘Matte black Mini Bob’.”

While the hair is indeed dark and styled in a bob, the term “matte” sparked confusion.

This single word ignited a lengthy discussion in the comments, with many disputing whether her hair appears matte or rather wet and glossy.

Users expressed their bewilderment, with one commenting: “Matte? That looks super shiny to me.”

Another questioned: “Maybe matte is the new wet look?”

Despite the debate, some quickly admired the change, with comments like: “Oh hey sexyy mama .. gorgeous.”

Another added: “Woooow She’s perfect.”

Honestly, her hair resembles wet hair that’s been enhanced with salt spray.

It’s not entirely matte but has a subdued shine due to moisture.

Gigi isn’t the only celebrity facing scrutiny over a new appearance.

Her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, has also been defending himself against claims that he underwent cosmetic surgery for a slimmer face.

“Did Bradley Cooper destroy his looks with plastic surgery? He doesn’t even look like the same person anymore!” a social media user commented on X.

Addressing these rumors, the 51-year-old clarified matters during an episode of the SmartLess podcast released on January 5.

Co-hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett discussed the topic.

Arnett was asked to reveal something people might not know about Cooper, to which he replied: “I said, ‘Well, there’s a lot’. And then I was gonna say, because we keep reading everybody thinks that Bradley’s had plastic surgery. Everybody keeps saying that. I’m like, ‘What people don’t know is that he hasn’t’. Right?”

The Maestro actor added: “No, I get people [coming] up to me the last couple weeks. They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good! Yeah. Yeah, but it’s a crazy s***.”
