Chris Noth, known for his role alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City, seemingly took a jab at her on Instagram shortly after she received a Golden Globes honor.
Sarah Jessica Parker was celebrated with the Carol Burnett Award during the CBS and Paramount event Golden Eve on January 6, prior to the 2026 Golden Globes on January 12.
Parker played the lead in the iconic series alongside Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, with Chris Noth portraying her character’s significant other, Mr. Big.
The relationship between Noth and Parker seems strained, as Noth appeared to subtly criticize Parker on Instagram soon after her award recognition.
On January 9, Noth posted a gym photo with the caption: “F&@k new years – LETS GO!!!!”
One commenter remarked: “You mean fcuk sjp & her award right? lol.”
Noth replied to the comment with: “Right.”
Another user asked: “What’d I miss?” while a third commented: “He’s just bitter that they [wrote] him off the show.”
Noth’s character made an appearance in the revival And Just Like That…, only to die in the first episode.
The demise of Mr. Big followed revelations of sexual assault allegations against Noth.

Two women accused Noth of sexual assault, incidents they claimed occurred in Los Angeles in 2004 and New York City in 2015.
Noth refuted the claims, issuing a statement: “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago—no always means no—that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual.”
Despite their on-screen romance, Parker reportedly ceased communication with Noth after the allegations surfaced, which he has denied.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, when asked if she had spoken to Noth since the allegations in December 2021, Parker replied, ‘No.’
Receiving the Carol Burnett Award wasn’t Parker’s first recognition from the Golden Globes for her role.

Back in 2000, Parker won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.
In her speech for the latest award, she expressed: “It’s hard to be anecdotal and brief on the topic, because it’s very meaningful.”
“I was—all the words that you might predict I might say—honored, humbled, overwhelmed. I felt duty-bound to write remarks that communicated how I felt about Miss Burnett and what she’s meant to me and millions of others. Her skill, her singular physical and intellectual comedy, her infamous generosity. That kind of eclipsed everything, which was perhaps good for me because it’s usually better for me to focus on an exercise!”
Parker highlighted her 25-year journey with the show, praising the ‘most glorious ensemble of women and actors’ she collaborated with.
She also thanked her ‘beloved family,’ ‘brilliant husband Matthew,’ and the family they’ve built together, vowing to continue making them proud.
