Polyamorous quad explains the dynamics of their unique four-way relationship

A group of four individuals in a polyamorous relationship have shared insights into how their unique partnership functions and their aspirations to legally marry one day.

Tiffani Nicole, 29, Jiselle Alexa, 23, Hammy Kendra, 29, and Raymond Anthony, 34, initially connected on Twitch in 2020, bonding over a shared passion for gaming.

Their connection deepened, leading to constant messaging and nightly video calls.

In 2021, Tiffani proposed that their connection resembled a polyamorous quad—a romantic relationship involving four people.

Later that year, they met in person for the first time and officially began their relationship after experiencing an immediate and strong connection.

By February 2022, they had moved in together in Baltimore County, Maryland, and have since enjoyed group date nights and shared intimacy.

Jiselle explained to PA Real Life that the relationship isn’t the ‘unlimited sex fest’ some might envision, noting its many parallels to traditional romantic relationships.

“We’ve come across so many people online that think it is a fetish, but it is not this unlimited sex fest that you think it is,” she said. “I think the idea of being polyamorous arouses people, but after you do something sexually with people, you still have to live with each other, pay the bills, cook dinner – it’s not just intercourse.”

She further elaborated: “You have to be in this type of relationship because you want to, and it’s based on love and friendship.

“It’s not all sunshine and rainbows – we have disagreements like any other relationship, it’s not anything major, but it happens.”

Once living together, the quad recognized that their relationship required a foundation of strong communication to succeed.

Raymond explained their approach: “We don’t split bills equally, we do it equitably based on who makes what in the house and adjust based on the money earned.

“I always tell people that we have foursomes, threesomes, twosomes and onesomes. It’s what you’d expect, it’s not foursomes or threesomes all the time, it’s just whatever we feel like doing.”

Raymond noted: “There is no planning – first of all, I’m completely turned off by that, so it really comes down to, you’re in the mood, I’m in the mood, you’re also in the mood, OK.

“It’s not always like that – if one of us had a long day, we won’t participate.”

Though they share intimate moments, each member maintains their own bedroom, allowing for personal space when needed.

Looking to the future, the quad hopes for broader societal acceptance of their relationship structure and wishes for a time when they can legally marry.

“I would say I do wish that it would be easier to get married,” Hammy shared with PA Real Life. “It’s a lot of work to even get the power of attorney as a four.”
