The Traitors viewers have been buzzing about Michael Rapaport’s eating style, as many were struck by his unconventional approach.
The comedian was seen on camera enjoying a meal during the fourth episode of the series, which premiered on Peacock on a Thursday (January 15).
In the scene, the camera captured Rapaport as he delved into his dish. Rather than using a knife and fork, Rapaport was observed bringing his mouth close to the plate, using only a fork to scoop food into his mouth.
This unexpected method caught the attention of those watching at home. One viewer described it as ‘disturbing,’ while another remarked: “This cannot be how this grown a** man eats.”
Someone else commented: “It’s so much worse in video, I totally get not being able to get that last bite on your spoon, but mans was just shoveling it down.”
Another viewer shared: “Cameraman did him dirty with that shot, let’s give that guy a raise.”
A Reddit thread even emerged focused on the moment, with one user stating: “Michael Rapaport eating dinner like a normal person.”
However, many expressed empathy for Rapaport, including one who confessed: “I have no shame admitting I do this when I’m cleaning my plate. Last bite gets scooped into my mouth.”

The actor is participating in Season 4 of The Traitors and has become quite a polarizing figure on the show.
Beyond his television roles, earlier this month, Rapaport announced his ambition to run for mayor of New York in 2029.
He kicked off his I Am Rapaport podcast at the beginning of January with an unusual introduction, saying: “Welcome to the ziggy zone of disruption. My name is Michael Rapaport, a.k.a. Mayor Rapaport. Mr. Mayor Rapaport, a.k.a. The Gringo Mandingo, a.k.a. The Enflamed Ashkenazi, a.k.a. The Sultan of Sniff.”
Throughout this episode, he referred to himself as ‘Mayor Rapaport,’ finally revealing his plans at the conclusion.
“Let me tell you something, guys, girls, women, children of all ages,” he started. “2025 was crazy, and I don’t see it getting any f**king calmer or cooler in 2026, the way things started. That’s why I’m running for mayor.”
He continued: “Born. Raised. NYC. Nothing’s free. No bullsh*t. No fake grins. I’ll own my mistakes, apologize when I screw up, and fight to make this city safe, affordable, and thriving.
“You got Zoron [sic] the Moron now… Mayor Rapaport is coming.”
