An elderly woman took a bold step into a new career, becoming an escort in her 70s after going through a long period of celibacy, and she has now opened up about the reasons behind her decision.
Caroline Vee, who spent years as a florist and dedicated churchgoer, completely transformed her life and shared her journey on the Tea at Four podcast.
She embraced Christianity at the young age of 17 following some unsatisfactory sexual experiences and remained celibate for the next 40 years, adhering to her church’s beliefs against premarital sex.
However, by age 57, Caroline began to question her religious beliefs and wonder if there was more excitement to be found in life. This curiosity led her to explore dating apps and the swinging lifestyle, ultimately realizing she had a knack for escorting.
More than ten years into her new career, Vee takes pride in the life she has created with the earnings from her clients, likening herself to ‘the older version of Bonnie Blue.’
On the podcast, she said: “Just because I’m now 73 doesn’t mean I should stop having sex or showing off my body. I refuse to be trolled.
“I am proud of my achievements. If people are bothered, that’s their problem.”
After discovering oral sex later in life, she quickly became accustomed to engaging with new partners. Financial struggles, including difficulty in making mortgage payments, led one partner to suggest escorting as a viable option.
“I seriously needed money, my mortgage company was trying to repossess my house,” Vee explained.
She recounted: “I watched a program of a lady doing phone sex and it was hilarious, because she was in her kitchen on one occasion, painting her kitchen wall and talking to a client.”
This inspired her to explore remote sex work, eventually connecting with a porn director through a swinging site, which led to quick financial gain through video work.
Yet, Vee admitted that the virtual aspect of the work didn’t appeal to her as much. She prefers the diversity of escorting and meeting new people, having encountered over 2000 men since starting her new profession.
This job does come with challenges, including a wide range of client requests and varying physical attributes. She explained: “Everybody has got a different size don’t they? I could have a really hunky gorgeous cute guy, but he’s only got two inches, so it’s a finger job and not a hand job.”
Some requests, like a client asking to be fed a ‘poo sandwich,’ have been particularly unusual.
Having cleared her mortgage and at one point earning £3000 a month, Vee now enjoys the freedom to choose her clients, saying she ‘chooses to do it’ and decides ‘who I want and when I want’ in her 70s.
