Hailey Bieber’s sister Alaia confronts potential jail sentence following charges tied to alleged bar altercation

Hailey Bieber’s sister could potentially face jail time due to her involvement in a reported bar altercation, where she is alleged to have used a tampon as a weapon and injured a man by hitting him in the genitals.

Alaia Baldwin Aronow, Hailey Bieber’s older sister, was charged on Monday, January 2026, nearly two years after being apprehended in connection with the February 2024 incident at a Georgia bar.

At 33, Aronow is now facing four misdemeanor charges: simple battery, simple assault, battery, and criminal trespass. If found guilty, these charges could result in up to 12 months in prison, a fine, or possibly community service.

Aronow is accused of attacking three employees at Club Elan in Savannah, with Us Weekly reporting that she allegedly threw a used tampon at a bartender in the staff bathroom and pulled out hair from another worker’s scalp during a violent episode.

Prosecutors claim an additional bar employee was struck “in the genitals” during the incident, which culminated in Aronow’s arrest after the establishment’s owner called 911 due to her refusal to leave.

TMZ’s reports from the incident state that Aronow entered the employees’ bathroom and resisted directions to use the customer facilities, becoming combative.

Haliegh Cauley, a female bartender, recounted to the publication that she found Aronow and her friends in the staff restroom and instructed them to leave, noticing the sink was filled with vomit. Despite her instructions, they remained when she returned.

Cauley claims that Aronow hit her in the face with a used tampon, not by throwing it, but by swinging her arm, causing it to touch her face. She noted that Aronow had a “scary” expression.

The charges include Aronow allegedly pulling hair from a security guard’s head after he tried to detain her, and kicking another security staff member in the groin while he was attempting to intervene.

A police report from the incident, obtained by E!, states: “Ms. Aronow stated she was forcefully removed from the club.”

“She initially denied forcing her way into the bathroom, only stating she needed to use the restroom to throw up and change her tampon.”

The report mentioned that Aronow initially denied using her tampon in an altercation with staff, but later admitted to throwing it.

It further suggested there was video footage of the altercation showing Aronow “grabbing and pulling” one security guard’s hair and “hitting” another “in the genitals”.

Following the incident, Aronow’s attorney, Drew Findling, commented: “On February 24, 2024, Ms. Aronow traveled to Savannah, GA to celebrate the upcoming marriage of a close friend. Sadly, what should have been a celebratory girls night out, unfortunately took an unexpected turn.”

“Ms. Aronow is embarrassed and saddened by the events of that night and is proactively taking the necessary steps to ensure that it never happens again.”
