Pete Davidson reveals surprising reason why he prefers closed cubicles over urinals

Pete Davidson is not particularly fond of urinals, as he shared on his recent Netflix show.

The Pete Davidson Show, a video podcast now streaming on Netflix, premiered in the US on Friday, January 30. In the show, the former Saturday Night Live star engages with a variety of guests from his garage, which he describes as a place where ‘all the best conversations happen.’

“Netflix was the home of one of my first stand-up specials,” Davidson mentioned to Tudum earlier this month. “So it felt right to bring the podcast there, too. It’s me and my friends talking about anything and everything. It’s going to be a great time.”

No conversation topic seems to be off-limits, as Davidson, with guest Machine Gun Kelly, delved into discussions about toilet habits.

Davidson was quick to express his dislike for using urinals in public restrooms, citing that ‘people try to look at famous dudes’ d****’.

He explained on the podcast: “I exclusively p*** in the toilet where you could shut the door because I look over and some dude’s staring.”

MGK joined in on the topic, saying: “Especially when there’s 6 stalls, like, ‘Hey, bro. Why are you right next to me?'”

Davidson added: “Also, I’m not not pee-shy. I don’t find it thrilling to p*** next to another guy that I don’t know. I’m not one of those dudes just whips it out and p*****. I’m there for a bit. “Sometimes I have to flush it to get the water. Not one of those cool guys that just whip it out.”

He further shared his envy of men who can comfortably use urinals or relieve themselves outdoors without hesitation.

“They’re just like, ‘Oh, I’m just gonna pee on this tree’. I’m like, ‘You go. Good. You hero’,” Davidson said.

Davidson wrapped up the unusual chat by admitting he finds such behavior ‘impressive’ and ‘primal’.

In addition to lighter topics, Davidson and MGK engaged in a deeper dialogue on the podcast’s first episode, discussing their experiences supporting one another through mental health challenges.

“I realized through our friendship … our bipolar has synced up because every time I’m having a manic episode, you’re good, and every time you’re having one, I’m good,” MGK recounted.

He continued: “Every time I call, you’re super mellow. And every time you call, I’m super mellow. So it just like goes back and forth.”
