Snoop Dogg’s daughter has shared the heartbreaking news that her infant daughter has passed away.

Cori Broadus, the 26-year-old daughter of the 54-year-old musician, posted on her Instagram stories on January 31 to announce the loss of her daughter, Codi Dreaux, who was also Snoop Dogg’s granddaughter.

In her emotional post, Cori wrote: “Monday; I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” accompanied by an angel wing emoji.

Codi was just 10 months old and had been born three months prematurely.

Before being discharged from the hospital, Codi spent a lengthy 10 months in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Cori had previously posted on social media about the joyful moment when her baby daughter was finally allowed to come home.

At that time, she expressed her gratitude, writing: “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”

Sadly, she has now confirmed that Codi has passed away.

Cori and her fiancé Wayne Deuce welcomed their first child together, Codi, in February 2025 at just 25 weeks of gestation.

Wayne Deuce also shared the devastating loss on his social media, posting photos and confirming the news.

“I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” he wrote, along with a picture of him holding his daughter.

“But I know u at peace,” he continued. “Daddy will always love you. My baby.”

Cori had first announced her pregnancy in an interview with E! News in December 2024.

In that interview, she revealed when she discovered she was expecting, stating: “I found out October 28.”

Cori explained that her pregnancy was considered ‘high-risk,’ with doctors concerned about the health of both her and her baby.

At the time, she said: “I’m a high-risk pregnancy, and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby, but God has his hands on me.”

On February 28, 2025, she shared a social media post confirming Codi’s early birth, saying: “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that I’m His Child!”

She added: “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever!” she continued. “Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me.”
