President Donald Trump has addressed the public following the release of the latest Epstein files, in which he was accused of sexual assault.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) released 3.5 million documents related to Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, January 30. This release was part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act passed the previous year.
The documents contained allegations against numerous public figures. Elon Musk and Bill Gates responded to claims against them, labeling them as ‘absolutely absurd’ and ‘completely false’.
Being mentioned in these files does not imply guilt. Trump appears in the files over 3,000 times and has consistently denied any involvement with Epstein’s criminal activities. He has not been formally accused of any misconduct related to Epstein.
However, some serious allegations were made against Trump based on unverified tips submitted to the FBI in August of the previous year.

One complaint stated: “[Redacted] reported an unidentified female friend who was forced to perform oral sex on President Trump 35 years ago in New [Jersey]”.
This allegation claimed the individual was ‘approximately 13-14 years old when this occurred’ and that she ‘bit’ Trump during the incident.
The report further alleged that she was ‘allegedly hit in the face after she laughed about biting President Trump’.
The White House and DOJ issued a statement asserting that the documents concerning Trump ‘contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election’. They emphasized: “The claims are unfounded and false, and if they had any credibility, they would have been used against President Trump already.”
After a document temporarily went missing from the files, the DOJ explained to The Telegraph that it wasn’t accessible ‘due to overload and is back online’.
Trump addressed reporters on Saturday, January 31, as he was preparing to travel to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
He stated: “I didn’t see it myself but I was told by some very important people that not only does it absolve me, it’s the opposite of what people were hoping, you know, the radical left.”

Although the DOJ confirmed that Friday’s release was the final batch of files, some Democrats argue that more documents should still be made public.
“Donald Trump and his Department of Justice have now made it clear that they intend to withhold roughly 50% of the Epstein files, while claiming to have fully complied with the law. This is outrageous and incredibly concerning,” said Congressman Robert Garcia.
“The oversight committee subpoena directs Pam Bondi to release all the files to the committee, while protecting survivors.”
