North West unveils ‘risky’ new style following Kim Kardashian’s response to criticism

North West has been alerted to potential risks associated with her piercings after she showcased her latest appearance on social media.

At just 12 years old, she has been the subject of scrutiny for her style choices, with many expressing their views. Recently, her mother, Kim Kardashian, addressed the criticism aimed at her and North following her daughter’s display of faux face tattoos and a diamond shark tooth grill on social platforms.

Kim explained her stance during an episode of her sister Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, “Khloe in Wonder Land,” emphasizing her desire for her daughter to have the freedom to express herself.

She expressed: “I’m just not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it.”

“But I think no one knows unless they’re in my shoes what I’m dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life, that we have to go through together.”

Most recently, concerns have arisen again as North uploaded a video on TikTok on Friday, displaying her hand piercings while advertising her latest song, “piercing on my hand.”

The authenticity of the piercings remains uncertain, but some have cautioned about the potential complications and risks they pose.

A TikTok commenter remarked: “Eventually she’ll have to let the piercings go. The placement is high risk for infection and they won’t heal.”

Another noted: “This is what happens when you need to be your child’s best friend and not a rational adult.”

A third person added: “This is absolutely absurd. She is a child.”

However, some individuals have come to the defense of North and Kim, contending that she was merely expressing her individuality and creativity.

In the podcast, Kim also spoke about the common “misconception” regarding her relationship with North, clarifying that she is not merely a friend to her daughter but also a parent with boundaries.

She elaborated: “No, Northie actually has a lot of rules. The one area is that I do let her express herself, and I do let her do that, I love her for that. She would do it regardless.”

Discussing North’s blue hair and pretend piercings, Kim mentioned: “I have pictures of her in first grade where she’d come with like a fake septum ring, and she has her green braids and pink braids.”

“She’s always loved the colored braids, she really is who she is and always has been that girl, and so I nurture her.”
