A politician granted access to the unredacted Epstein documents has indicated that President Trump’s name appears over a million times in these heavily redacted files from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
In the files released by the DOJ on January 30, Trump’s name appears in various forms at least 5,000 times. These documents have linked several prominent individuals, such as Howard Lutnick, Larry Summers, and Elon Musk, to Epstein following his 2008 conviction.
Rep. Jamie Raskin, the Democrats’ ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, recently reviewed the unredacted documents, expressing concerns about the ‘mysterious redactions’ concerning names connected to criminal activities.
Raskin disclosed that “Trump’s name… appears more than a million times. So it’s all over the place,” after he searched the unredacted documents for variations like ‘Trump, Donald or Don’ at the DOJ’s Washington headquarters.

Addressing Axios, Raskin questioned the frequency of the president’s name but noted, “I obviously didn’t have the time to review each one, and I obviously cannot guarantee that every mention of a Donald is Donald Trump as opposed to some other Donald.”
The files were made public after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November, mandating the department to release all documents related to the deceased convicted pedophile, with limited redactions to safeguard victims’ identities.
However, Raskin confirmed after reviewing the uncensored files that many of the redacted names did not belong to victims.
He stated, “I was able to determine, at least I believe, that there were tons of completely unnecessary redactions, in addition to the failure to redact the names of victims, and so that was troubling to us.”
Raskin added, “I saw the names of lots of people, who were redacted for mysterious or baffling or inscrutable reasons,” including former Victoria’s Secret CEO Les Wexner, a known associate of Epstein.

Raskin told the Daily Mail, “You read through these files, and you read about 15-year-old girls, 14-year-old girls, 10-year-old girls,” adding that he came across a mention of a nine-year-old girl, deeming it “preposterous and scandalous.”
Joining Raskin at the DOJ were Rep. Ro Khanna and Rep. Thomas Massie, who have been advocating for full transparency of the files. After reviewing the documents, they disclosed six redacted names.
Among those revealed were Wexner, Italian politician Nicola Caputo, and Dubai-based shipping magnate Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem. The other three individuals were Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, and Leonic Leonov.
Being mentioned in the files does not necessarily indicate criminal behavior.
Rep. Khanna remarked, “If we found six men that they were hiding in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up for in those three million files?”
Following Raskin’s allegations of a ‘cover-up’ at the DOJ, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche responded, “The document you cite has numerous victim names.
“We have just unredacted Les Wexner’s name from this document, but his name already appears in the files thousands of times. DOJ is hiding nothing.”
