You might not have pondered this before, but could Karoline Leavitt be a Bad Bunny enthusiast in hiding?
The online community is abuzz with speculation as some internet users believe they’ve found ‘evidence’ suggesting that the White House press secretary might be a fan, despite recent comments regarding the Grammy-winning artist’s Super Bowl halftime performance.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, wowed the audience at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, February 8, with a pioneering Spanish-language show. His performance included a journey through a field of sugarcane, paying homage to Puerto Rico.
However, some viewers expressed their displeasure that the performance was in Spanish, feeling excluded due to the language barrier.
Donald Trump was vocal in his criticism, labeling the widely celebrated performance as ‘disgusting’.

On Truth Social, Trump wrote: “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.
“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.
“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!
“There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.
“And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
This wasn’t Trump’s first critique of Bad Bunny. He had previously stated that he’d ‘never heard’ of the ‘DtMF’ singer.

During this year’s Grammys, the 31-year-old artist used his acceptance speech to make a statement against ICE, starting with “ICE Out.”
He added: “We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens — we are humans, and we are Americans.”
Given this backdrop, it’s surprising for some to discover that Leavitt included a Bad Bunny song in her Instagram reel, leaving many to wonder if she’s secretly an admirer. Quite the predicament, wouldn’t you say?
On New Year’s Eve, she shared an Instagram video featuring highlights from 2025. While that might be typical, the soundtrack choice was ‘DtMF’ by Bad Bunny.
One online observer noted: “Bad Bunny playing for the recap is the funniest thing I’ve seen so far this year. And we’re only 19 days in she lowkey loves him like the rest of us.”
Another remarked: “Bad Bunny? How ironic.”
Following the Super Bowl, someone else commented: “You can’t talk negatively about Bad Bunny, then use his song at the beginning of this nonsense.”
In response to Bad Bunny’s Grammy comments, Leavitt stated in a subsequent press conference that she found it ‘very ironic and frankly sad to see celebrities who live in gated communities, with private security with millions of dollars to spend protecting themselves, trying to demonize law enforcement, public servants who work for the United States government to enforce our nation’s laws.’
