OnlyFans model addresses claims she was the girlfriend who helped lead police to cartel boss

An OnlyFans and Instagram model has responded to claims that she led Mexican police to a notorious cartel boss.

One of Mexico’s most wanted drug figures, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes — identified as the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) — was killed on Sunday (February 22) during a security operation.

Cervantes, widely known as “El Mencho,” reportedly suffered severe injuries following a confrontation involving his supporters and the Mexican army. He later died while being transferred to the capital, Mexico City.

In the wake of his death, unrest has spread across parts of Mexico, with CJNG-linked groups reportedly setting vehicles on fire, erecting roadblocks, and launching attacks on security personnel.

Amid online speculation — including rumors amplified by fabricated, AI-generated images — model Maria Julissa addressed the claims publicly, insisting she played no role in the events.

She also advised social media users to ignore misleading headlines and rely only on verified reporting and official statements.

“I want to make it absolutely clear: I have nothing to do with that situation,” Julissa wrote on social media.

“The information going around is false and lacks foundation.

“I ask that you all not fall for fake news and always look to reliable sources and officials.”

Mexico’s Defense Secretary Ricardo Trevilla had previously said El Mencho was located through a romantic partner.

While the full circumstances have not been confirmed, reports suggest agents identified someone connected to the unnamed woman and then traced her movements to a part of Jalisco where El Mencho was believed to be present.

After El Mencho’s death, disruptions were reported in multiple states, leaving some US travelers stranded at airports due to flight cancellations and the violence that followed.

Adryan Moorefield, from Dallas, had been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta and was scheduled to fly home on Sunday, but says he is now unable to leave.

“It was such a complete shocker, and it almost felt like being in the twilight zone,” he told CNN. “We’ve been to PV before and thought that this would be a no brainer place to come and do a quick, easy beach vacation.”

Another American visitor, Jim Beck, also in Puerto Vallarta, said he was alarmed to wake up on Sunday morning to what he described as “taxi cabs blown up all over town.”

Beck told CNN: “Then immediately, everyone was running down the street, screaming and yelling, and they told everyone to get back to their hotels.”
