Bhad Bhabie has responded to online criticism after people mocked her for sharing a thirst-trap style post shortly after revealing she’d received “bad news” about cancer.
The 22-year-old influencer and rapper, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, pulled in more than 400,000 likes for two photos uploaded on Wednesday, March 4. In the images, she’s dressed in black, wearing leggings and a tight-fitting top.
The gas station-themed shoot also included a rear-angle shot. While plenty of followers praised the look, rapper Sexyy Red was among those reacting positively in the comments.
‘Sheshhhh’
Others, however, questioned the timing, since Bregoli had posted the week before that she’d gotten “bad news from my doctor,” adding that “god has the last say so not my cancer.” She didn’t share further details about her condition.
The post sparked heated debate on X, with some users criticizing what they saw as attention-seeking behavior and urging young fans not to copy her.
“I pray young women don’t follow these footsteps.
“Value how you look and don’t ever betray your morals for money or attention.”
Critics also zeroed in on how much her appearance has changed since her breakout moment on Dr Phil, where she went viral at 13 and quickly became a meme.
“Catch me outside, that’s what I always do and they never catch me,” the teen said in 2016, before delivering the iconic line. “Ain’t nobody gonna catch me. … Cash me outside, how ‘bout dat?”
Some commenters told her she looked like “a whole different person,” with others speculating that cosmetic surgery played a role in her transformation.
Bregoli didn’t let the remarks slide, posting a response just hours after the photos went up and calling out those judging her looks amid her health situation.

“I’m not suppose [sic] to feel pretty because of my cancer? OK smh,”
Back in November 2024, she also addressed the ongoing talk about her weight and appearance while discussing her diagnosis, saying medication had affected her body.
“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,.
“I’m slowly gaining back. So, stop running [with] the worst narratives 💕.”
She has still not revealed what type of cancer she has. The lack of details prompted some commentators to question whether her diagnosis was real, which her mother, Barbara Ann, strongly rejected in an Instagram post.
“How dare you, you little vile piece of s**t say my daughter would lie about something like that.”
“And, I pray to God that none of your children never get cancer, okay? I’ve had it twice. How dare you say my daughter is faking this.”
Bregoli has also publicly pushed back on claims that she’s pretending to be ill, especially after scrutiny over undergoing multiple procedures in 2024, including a breast enlargement, a nose job, and having silicone removed from her butt.
“I don’t know who told y’all you can’t get surgery when you have cancer. I was cleared by my dr mind the business that pays you.”
She also dismissed speculation that her surgeries were related to treatment, and said people were spreading rumors about the type of cancer involved.
“Y’all mfs[sic] so worried about me and y’all don’t even know what kind of cancer I have! It’s not breast cancer that is a rumor.”
