Streamer HStikkytokky issues direct response to Louis Theroux after ‘hit piece’ Netflix documentary

HStikkytokky has addressed the criticism he’s faced following the Netflix release of Inside the Manosphere.

Louis Theroux’s newest documentary arrived on the streaming service earlier this week. Netflix’s synopsis states: “With rare access and no holds barred, the acclaimed documentarian investigates a growing ultra-masculine network and its controversial influencers.”

Since landing on March 11, the film — which holds a 69 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing — has prompted reactions from some of the figures featured, including Myron Gaines.

Gaines has claimed Netflix and Theroux edited the documentary to make him ‘look crazy’ and to push a ‘false narrative’.

He also described the platform as a ‘bunch of woke garbage’ and said he would ‘expose’ Theroux by sharing material he alleges was left out.

Now, HStikkytokky — another participant in Inside the Manosphere — has released his own response.

In the documentary, the 24-year-old creator makes a number of contentious remarks that have drawn widespread backlash.

At one point, HStikkytokky (real name Harrison Sullivan) says he would cut ties with a future son if he came out as gay.

In a Twitter video posted on March 13, the streamer reacted to a TikTok clip in which someone calls him ‘evil’ and suggests HStikkytokky would beat him up for being gay.

“So this guy is so educated and knows all these bad things that I’ve done wrong, but he can’t name one thing that I’ve done wrong,” he said in response.

“This is the majority of the UK right now, scattering to make comments online about me. They don’t know me. They don’t know my purpose. People in the same position of me would do the exact same thing.”

He went on to argue that viewers were taking his on-screen comments literally, instead of considering his motivations for saying them.

“So many people right now will take everything that I’ve said in that documentary at face value and not actually have the brain cells to comprehend that maybe I say things and do things for a reaction because it makes me money and allows me to live this lifestyle.

“Yes, maybe I manage some OF [OnlyFans] girls, or have managed some OF girls — does that mean I agree with OF and porn or whatever? No it doesn’t.”

These remarks follow his earlier claim — made before the documentary premiered — that the project would be a ‘hit piece’.

Discussing Theroux directly, HStikkytokky said: “Even though I know this is going to be a hit piece, I understand his work, I appreciate his work.”

“I’m all ears to watch this and watch them absolutely try and destroy me. I don’t actually care. I do respect his work,” he added during a Kick stream.
