Are Zendaya and Tom Holland secretly married?
Online chatter has reached a fever pitch over the idea that Zendaya and Tom Holland may have quietly gotten married. For weeks, fans have been picking apart appearances and tiny details for any sign that the Spider-Man co-stars have taken their relationship to the next level.
The rumors intensified after Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, hinted at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1 that the pair’s wedding “already happened.” Since then, attention has zeroed in on Zendaya being photographed wearing what looks like a ring on her left hand—fueling ongoing debate about whether a private ceremony has already taken place.

Now, fresh speculation is swirling around Zendaya’s last name. The 29-year-old made an unexpected stop at a Las Vegas wedding on March 14 at a one-day chapel pop-up organized by A24 to promote her upcoming film The Drama, where she stars opposite Robert Pattinson. She attended alongside her co-star, Haim musician Alana Haim, and the surprise visit quickly became a highlight for the couple and their guests.
Interest spiked even further when it emerged that Zendaya had signed the wedding certificate—prompting fans to search for any clue they could find. That document has since been shared publicly.

The certificate reads: “This is to certify that the undersigned, Rev. Philip De Graviet, did on the 14th day of the month of March of the year 2026, at Chapel of the Bells 2233 Las Vegas Blvd S., Las Vegas, Nevada, with their mutual consent and witnessed in the presence of Zendaya Coleman [and] Alana Haim, join in lawful wedlock: Payton Ireland Whitmore of Chandler, Arizona born 08/10/1998, and Kadeem Dwain Ball Strickland of Chandler, Arizona born 01/24/1997.”
Of course, getting married doesn’t require anyone to change their surname. So the fact that she signed as Zendaya Coleman doesn’t, on its own, prove anything about whether she’s married.
For now, anyone hoping for a clear confirmation may have to be patient.
Zendaya discussed Whitmore and Strickland’s wedding during a Monday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

“They did not know that I was going to be there, so I got to surprise them. Thankfully, they were happy about the surprise. I was like, ‘Can you imagine you open up like, ‘Uh, what are you doing here, girl?’ But no, it went well and they are a beautiful couple.”
She also addressed the wave of viral AI-generated images that appeared to show her marrying Tom Holland. While she didn’t directly confirm or deny any private wedding plans, she did speak specifically about the fake photos and how widely they spread.
Zendaya explained that some people even praised the images as if they were real, forcing her to gently tell them they’d been misled.
“Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’.”
