Newly surfaced footage of Shia LaBeouf has sparked concern after it appears to show the actor yelling at a woman while in Rome, Italy.
LaBeouf has recently faced renewed scrutiny following his February arrest in New Orleans, where he was accused of “terrorizing” the city during Mardi Gras.
He was taken into custody and later released. However, a judge said he had only been permitted to leave jail at the time because alleged homophobic slurs attributed to LaBeouf — reportedly used during an incident involving two men — had not yet been disclosed.
At a February 26 hearing, Orleans Parish Criminal Court Judge Simone Levine reprimanded the actor, stating that he “does not take his alcohol addiction seriously”.
In connection with the alleged offenses, LaBeouf was required to post $100,000 under revised bail conditions and was also ordered to return to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

It has not been confirmed when the actor is expected to begin treatment.
During the court proceedings, Judge Levine rejected a written request from LaBeouf to travel to Rome this month for “religious observations, including his father’s baptism”.
Despite that, LaBeouf has since been seen in the Italian capital. The Guardian reported on March 11 that magistrate Peter Hamilton, in another section of the same courthouse, later cleared the actor to travel after LaBeouf’s attorney made an application.
Now, a video obtained by TMZ has emerged showing LaBeouf shouting “f**k off” at a woman seated at a different table.
The woman, who has not been identified, did not appear to be speaking to him and continued to ignore the outburst while LaBeouf remained seated and stared in her direction.

The clip then cuts to LaBeouf walking back and forth on the street, still yelling obscenities.
The latest footage surfaced only days after separate reports and images showed him moving around his hotel in just his underwear.
Online, some commenters have voiced worry about the Holes actor’s wellbeing. One person wrote: “This young man needs help. Not to be made fun of. His pain goes back many years and is deep.”
Another added: “This guy has been literally crying for help for long time now,”
A third wrote: “All child stars need a therapist in their contracts,” referencing LaBeouf’s early fame after landing his breakout role on the Disney Channel sitcom Even Stevens at age 14.
Someone else commented: “He really needs to get help. This is sad.”
Representatives for LaBeouf have been contacted for comment.
