The Hunger Games performer Ethan Jamieson has been taken into custody over allegations he attacked three men using a deadly weapon.
Jamieson, who portrayed the District 4 male tribute in The Hunger Games (2012), was arrested on three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, according to court documents obtained by multiple outlets, including People and the Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old is accused of using a 9mm semi-automatic handgun during an incident that allegedly occurred in Raleigh, North Carolina, on March 23.
The individuals named as victims have not been publicly identified; the court paperwork reportedly lists them only by initials: E.F., J.M., and K.W.
A Raleigh Police Department spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly the situation began at 9:52pm, when officers responded to reports of shots fired.
The spokesperson added to the outlet: “Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who reported that an unknown suspect riding an e-bike had fired a shot at their vehicle while they were driving.

“Two additional occupants were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified Ethan Jamieson (27) as the individual who discharged a single gunshot in the direction of the victims’ vehicle.”
Jamieson was denied bail on April 9 and is scheduled to return to court on April 30 for a disposition hearing.
A lawyer for Jamieson was not immediately available.
Online records also indicate Jamieson was previously arrested on March 21, 2025, and later charged with resisting a public officer.
Jamieson’s first on-screen credit came in 2009, when he appeared in a single episode of One Tree Hill as “Kid #2.”
He went on to feature in The Rusty Bucket Kids: Lincoln, Journey to 16 the following year, and also appeared in the 2010 short film Gravity.
In 2012, he appeared in The Huger Games alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, and later had a credit in the 2017 TV mini series Extras: The Hunger Games.

Jamieson also spoke to Lancashire Online in 2012, when he was 13, as the franchise’s popularity surged.
“I knew that the books were popular, but I didn’t know that the movie was going to be so big,” he told the outlet.
Although he said it was “pretty awesome” to sign autographs and be recognised in Hollywood, Jamieson suggested the experience helped him decide he didn’t want to chase major stardom as an actor.
“I want to be just a normal person,” he added to Lancashire Online.
