Former Virginia lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax was found dead at his home after fatally shooting his wife in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide.
The couple’s children were inside the family home in Annandale, Virginia, when the shooting happened shortly after midnight on Thursday, according to officials. Fairfax’s wife, Cerina, also died at the scene.
