Downdetector, a site that tracks service disruptions and outages in real time, has logged a surge in reports today (April 20) affecting several artificial intelligence tools, including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
Users in both the US and the UK have reported problems.
