Singer D4vd officially charged with murder of teen girl found dismembered in his car

D4vd has been charged with first-degree murder following the discovery of a teenage girl’s remains in his vehicle.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced the filing of charges on April 20, coming just days after the singer’s arrest.

The case stems from the discovery of the dismembered body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez inside D4vd’s Tesla last year, which prompted a criminal investigation.

Celeste had been reported missing by her parents in 2024. She was 13 when she disappeared and is believed to have been 14 at the time of her death, according to AP News.

AP News reports that prosecutors have also alleged special circumstances, including lying in wait, committing the crime for financial gain, and the killing of a witness connected to an investigation.

More updates are expected.
