Scooter Braun praises Sydney Sweeney’s Euphoria performances as he reveals new details on their romance

Scooter Braun has spoken candidly about where things stand with Sydney Sweeney — and he made it clear he’s completely taken with the Euphoria actor.

The 44-year-old, who previously worked as a music manager, shared uncommon insight into their connection while appearing on Suzy Weiss’ Second Thought podcast. During the conversation, he repeatedly highlighted Sweeney’s personality and said he’s also grown to admire her work on screen.

“I’ve met an extraordinary woman, kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth,” Braun said during the episode released on Thursday, May 28.

He added that the relationship has been “one of the biggest surprises ever.”

Braun also confirmed he’s been watching Euphoria — and suggested his enthusiasm might not be entirely impartial.

When asked whether he’s tuning into the hit HBO drama, Braun joked: “I am catching it. I’m biased, I like it. I think there’s been an incredible performance by a certain actress.”

Interest in the pair’s romance has been building since dating rumours began circulating in 2025.

In September, reports suggested Braun and Sweeney were keeping things low-key and seeing each other “casually.” By December, however, multiple outlets were saying the relationship had shifted into more serious territory.

“Scooter and Sydney are going strong and things between them are great,” a source previously told PEOPLE.

“They’re in a committed relationship and things are serious.”

More recently, the couple have seemingly become less private about their relationship.

Braun offered an early hint online when he reposted a black-and-white photo of the two snuggled together on Instagram Stories, adding the caption: “Lucky bastard.”

And earlier this month, Sweeney appeared to make things even more official by sharing a photo dump from California’s Stagecoach Festival.

Those pictures included Braun with his arms around her, the pair mugging for a photo booth shot, and several moments capturing him lifting her up during performances over the weekend.

The relationship talk arrives while Euphoria viewers are busy theorising about the show’s third season and where its more volatile storylines might be headed.

A grim theory currently spreading on Reddit suggests Cassie’s arc could become even darker than fans anticipated.

According to the speculation, Naz — the criminal figure introduced this season — could abduct Cassie and potentially traffic her to Alamo as a way to settle Nate’s debt.

Supporters of the theory argue that trailer moments may already be foreshadowing the development.

In the “Weeks Ahead” teaser, some viewers believe they spotted Cassie restrained on a bed while being threatened, interpreting the scene as evidence of Naz intensifying his retaliation against Nate.

The theory has been amplified further by purported leaked TikTok photos from production, which fans claim include references to Cassie being “tied up” at Alamo’s location.

Others have expanded the speculation to include Maddie, suggesting her ties to Alamo and the Silver Slipper storyline could draw her into the plot — though plenty of viewers push back on the idea that she’d knowingly turn on Cassie.
