Jimmy Kimmel blasts Trump’s approval rating with brutal testicle comparison

A YouGov poll released earlier this week showed President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to a new low.

The survey put him at 34% approval, the weakest figure recorded for him across both terms in office. It also sits below every approval rating Joe Biden posted while he was in office, adding to the political sting.

And the rough week didn’t end there. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel weighed in on the news during a recent episode, taking aim at the president as the numbers made headlines.

On Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 58-year-old shifted focus toward the November midterm elections. He cited the same YouGov polling that suggested 57% of Americans say they plan to vote—17% above the typical level.

Kimmel then turned back to Trump’s approval figure, using it as setup for a punchline that drew a strong reaction from the studio audience.

“Trump’s approval ratings, like his testicles, have shrunk to an all time low,” the host said, as the crowd laughed.

He continued: “They are lower than they have ever been. He’s now down to 34%,” before adding: “He has the same approval rating as Paul Blart Mall Cop,” referencing the 2009 comedy.

Kimmel also mentioned that Trump was trailing JD Vance by two points, emphasizing the comparison without adding a traditional gag.

“I don’t have a joke for that, I just want him to know he’s two points behind JD Vance,” he said.

Keeping the bit going, Kimmel claimed the president was “only popular with white guys named Rufus.”

From there, the show played a montage of clips featuring Trump saying he has “done more than anyone” for various groups.

After the compilation, Kimmel responded by telling him it might be time to hand things over to someone else, prompting applause.

“You know, you’re right, you’ve done enough, let’s get somebody else to take over,” Kimmel added.

The segment comes amid ongoing tension between the two, as Trump has previously criticized the host and recently urged ABC to remove him following a White House Correspondents’ Dinner routine.

During that appearance, Kimmel joked about Melania Trump, describing her as an “expectant widow.”

Trump later addressed the remarks on Truth Social, writing: “I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel’s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but, this is something far beyond the pale.”

He added: “Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC,”

Separately, Cole Tomas Allen, 31, has been charged with federal gun crimes and attempting to assassinate US President Donald Trump in connection with an incident at the Washington Hotel last month.
