Real Housewives of Rhode Island’s Rosie DiMare sparked a big reaction from viewers after branding one of her castmates a ‘slam pig’ during a tense confrontation.
The blow-up unfolded when DiMare and fellow cast member Kelsey Swanson clashed on screen. Swanson arrived at DiMare’s home and mocked DiMare’s earlier claims about the property’s size—suggesting it wasn’t anywhere close to 8,000 square feet—which appeared to set DiMare off immediately.
As the argument escalated, DiMare shifted her focus to Swanson’s dating life, throwing jabs about her rumored relationship with an older man. Swanson has been linked to John Caprio, the son of Judge Frank Caprio, who died last August aged 88.
While the identity and age of Swanson’s partner haven’t been fully confirmed, the 32-year-old has previously said she was dating someone 23 years older, adding that he was still “25 at heart” in comments to Swooon.

In the middle of the shouting match, DiMare delivered the insult that’s now making the rounds online.
“Everyone in Rhode Island knows you f**k married men. Every single f**king person. You’re a f**kng slam pig.”
DiMare continued to press the point as the confrontation carried on.
“Don’t ever f**king come for me again,”
The episode, which aired on May 17, quickly sparked chatter on social media, with fans sharing clips and turning the exchange into a meme-heavy moment.
“The battle of slam pig will be talked about for generations. written in the history books and on display at museums. people died #rhori.”

Others praised the way the scene played out, including the movement in and out of the house during the argument.
“The producers blocking Rosie only for them to open her door and have Kelsey come back in and get called a slam pig? Cinema.”
Some viewers also focused on the insult itself, calling it a new addition to their reality-TV vocabulary.
“My favorite part about watching white womens drama is learning their insults,” said another RHORI viewer said. “I really can’t wait to call someone a slam pig!!!
“If they are halfway as bothered as Kelsey was then I will consider it a success.”
So what does “slam pig” actually mean? According to Urban Dictionary, it’s used as a derogatory label for “a highly unattractive or repulsive female who you would only have sex with if highly intoxicated or high off a particular drug.”
Another broader definition describes it as a promiscuous woman whose partners treat her as an option for casual, non-committal sex.
DiMare later addressed the phrase and suggested it has regional roots, calling it “a very New England term.”
“I don’t know why I use that term,” she went on to say on the RHORI After Show Podcast, adding: “I think I was just so tired of her sh*t.”
With the moment going viral, DiMare has also leaned into the attention, announcing plans for a “Slam Pig Summer Tour” in the months ahead.
