Brooklyn Beckham’s Huge Net Worth Revealed After Brutal Swipe at Family in World Cup Ads

Brooklyn Beckham’s reported net worth has come under fresh attention after a new World Cup commercial sparked criticism from viewers, many of whom felt the timing and tone were off given his public family fallout. The ad was part of DoorDash’s broader FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign, launched after the company was named an official tournament supporter by FIFA.

Over recent months, the eldest Beckham child has remained in the spotlight because of repeated claims about his relationship with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In January 2026, reports said Brooklyn publicly confirmed he had become estranged from the family and had told his parents to contact him only through lawyers.

Back in January, the 27-year-old made a number of allegations about life inside the family, including a claim that his mother interrupted a key moment at his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham. He also alleged that he had spent much of his life under his parents’ control.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” he wrote on Instagram.

His latest appearance has only added more fuel to the conversation, with Brooklyn featuring in a DoorDash advert tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The clip was widely shared after he posted it on Instagram, with the ad reportedly released on June 16, 2026.

“You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home,” he says in the ad.

“It’s a long story,”

Laughing, he says the line as he tosses his match tickets onto a coffee table, prompting many viewers to interpret the moment as another swipe at his famous parents. DoorDash’s campaign materials say the brand’s first international World Cup spot, “Deliver Us to Fútbol,” is meant to capture the chaos and emotion around the tournament.

The advert closes with a teasing message suggesting there is more to come, and online reaction was swift, with plenty of people arguing it was another pointed reference to the Beckham family drama. Viewers and commentators also noted that, because David Beckham is so closely associated with football, the joke landed especially hard.

Even with that distance from his family in recent months, Brooklyn is still said to have built a sizeable fortune of his own. Celebrity Net Worth currently estimates his wealth at around $10 million.

Although he was raised in a hugely wealthy household, reports suggest that a large share of that figure comes from his own projects.

Brooklyn first made money through photography and modelling work before moving more heavily into food-related content and social media. His early media work included a photography book, while later efforts leaned into cooking videos and brand partnerships.

He also launched his own hot sauce business, Hot23, with bottles selling for $14.99.

Still, that figure is far below the Beckham family’s reported combined wealth, which is believed to be roughly $450 million. Public estimates for the wider Beckham fortune continue to vary, but it remains many times larger than Brooklyn’s own reported net worth.

The World Cup campaign quickly spread online, where some viewers branded it “a giant PR miss”.

Others called it “tone deaf”, particularly because his father remains one of the biggest names associated with football.

Not everyone agreed with the criticism, however.

“So many haters here. I think it’s snarky and fun. Brooklyn has been through a lot and it’s great to see he has a sense of humor.”

Brooklyn and Nicola married on April 9, 2022, in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony attended by 500 guests, two years after announcing their engagement. The couple have remained together publicly despite the ongoing speculation around family tensions.

Not long after the wedding, reports began circulating that tensions had developed between Nicola and Victoria.

Page Six reported that the period leading up to the wedding had been deeply strained.

‘the build-up to the wedding was horrendous’

‘can’t stand each other and don’t talk’.

There were also claims that some of the friction came from Nicola wearing a Valentino wedding gown rather than a design from Victoria’s label, although those rumours later appeared to be downplayed.

By March 2023, things looked much calmer publicly, with the family posing together during Victoria’s Paris fashion show.

But two years later, new reports suggested Brooklyn and Nicola had not attended David’s 50th birthday celebration at Cipriani Downtown Miami.

Days after that, TMZ reported that Brooklyn and Romeo were no longer speaking because of Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who allegedly had a past link with Brooklyn.

‘romantic connection’

‘several years ago’.

Cruz later pushed back on that narrative, saying Brooklyn and Kim had never actually been in a relationship.

By May 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola were again absent as celebrations for David’s birthday continued.

In July of that year, Brooklyn and Nicola unfollowed Romeo and Cruz, with the move also happening in reverse.

The following month, David and Victoria were reportedly not present at the Peltz-Beckhams’ vow renewal.

Then, in December, reports claimed Brooklyn had stopped following his parents, and that they no longer followed him either.

Cruz then publicly disputed part of the story.

“NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”

In January 2026, further reports claimed Brooklyn had sent a legal letter to his parents instructing them to contact him only through his lawyer. Victoria was then said to have broken that boundary by liking one of his Instagram posts about roast chicken.

On January 19, Brooklyn shared a statement to Instagram Stories making a series of dramatic claims about his family. Reports at the time said the post marked one of the clearest public signs yet that the rift had become deeply personal.

Among them were accusations that his parents had tried to damage his marriage to Nicola, that they had always controlled his life, and that the family image came before everything else.

‘ruin’

‘controlled’

‘Brand Beckham’

David later posted a birthday tribute for his son.

“27 Today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.”

He included a throwback picture from Brooklyn’s childhood and tagged Victoria, though he was unable to tag Brooklyn because he had reportedly been blocked.

Brooklyn did not publicly respond to the message.

Harper, Brooklyn’s 14-year-old sister and the youngest Beckham child, was later photographed outside his home delivering a letter by hand. At the time, Brooklyn and Nicola were believed to be in New York.

A representative for the Peltz-Beckhams responded sharply.

“That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”
