Woman Claims Leaked FIFA ‘Script’ Reveals This Year’s World Cup Winner

One TikTok user believes she has figured out who will lift the 2026 FIFA World Cup, arguing that an apparent tournament “script” has been hiding in plain sight.

The claim has been making the rounds online as football fans look ahead to the first 48-team World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

Before every World Cup, a handful of nations are usually tipped as the most likely winners.

At the moment, Argentina, France, England, Spain, Brazil and Portugal are all among the sides being backed to go deep into the competition.

Portugal has already booked its place at the tournament, and the team’s run to the finals has only added to the online chatter around whether another deep World Cup run could be on the cards.

But one woman on TikTok is convinced the outcome is already set, suggesting the tournament is scripted and that the clues have already been revealed.

“We all know the Super Bowl conspiracy, every year they give us the logo, and the colors of the logo happen to end up being the colors of the teams playing in the final – we all know there’s a script for the NFL,” claims Paige, a content creator who believes she’s got things worked out.

She then turned her attention to football’s biggest tournament.

“Well FIFA has a script too,” she said, “And it’s right in front of our faces, it’s been very obvious this whole time.”

“Portugal is winning the World Cup and FIFA leaked the script,” she claimed.

Paige went on to explain that her theory revolves around the official color palettes linked to recent World Cups.

“The World Cup logo itself is always black and white. But what you might not know is that every World Cup has it’s official colors, and those colors just happen to correlate with the winner every single year for at least the last three.”

Looking back at past tournaments, she pointed to a pattern she believes supports her view.

“In 2022, Argentina won, and the colors for the World Cup were Argentina’s flag.

“Then in 2018, France won, and you can’t tell me that these colors don’t match France.”

When discussing Germany’s 2014 triumph, she admitted the connection might not feel quite as strong to everyone.

“But it’s the same red and yellow tone from the flag, and their away kits are green,” she explained.

That brings her to the 2026 color combination: green, red, blue and grey.

From there, she tried to work out which nation those shades fit best.

“My first thought,” she said, “An underdog team, Morocco.”

Paige added: “However they are missing the blue – the more obvious option is Portugal.”

For context, FIFA’s official 2026 branding has been built around the three host nations, and the tournament’s official match ball, Trionda, uses a red, green and blue color scheme to reflect Canada, Mexico and the United States rather than to hint at a champion.

So while TikTok may be having fun with the idea of a hidden script, there is no evidence that FIFA has revealed the World Cup winner in advance. The real answer will only be settled on the pitch in July 2026.
