21-Year-Old Influencer Killed in Targeted Shooting as Police Reveal New Details

Florida influencer DreamDoll Brii, whose real name was Brianna Johnson, has died after a suspected targeted shooting that also left two other people hurt, including one person said to be in critical condition.

Police said the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Miramar, Florida, after Johnson and two others were traveling westbound in a lime green Lamborghini Urus on Sunshine Boulevard.

According to investigators, a white sedan, possibly a BMW, pulled alongside the driver’s side and opened fire more than a dozen times as the vehicle approached an intersection.

Authorities said all three people inside the Lamborghini were struck. Johnson was taken to Miramar Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The two other victims, both men, were also hospitalized after the shooting. Police later said one of them remained in critical condition, while the other suffered serious injuries.

Investigators said the gunfire caused the Lamborghini to drift through the intersection and crash into a house near the 2600 block of Sunshine Boulevard.

Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss said officials believed the attack appeared to be targeted, but stressed that it was still too early to know exactly what led up to the shooting.

Police have launched an active investigation and are still searching for a suspect. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Miramar Police Department or Broward Crime Stoppers.

Johnson had built a large social media following, with more than 450,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok. She posted under the names @dreamdoll_brii on Instagram and @_itgirlbri on TikTok.

Her death prompted an outpouring of grief online, with fans and followers leaving tributes across her social media accounts.

Addressing the incident at a press conference, Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss said:

“This is no way to wake up on a Sunday morning; it’s a chaotic scene.

“Hearing multiple shots in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning, it’s disturbing. At this point, we don’t believe there is a bigger picture with regards to the neighborhood being in danger, but certainly, they targeted this particular car for some reason.”

Police have launched an active investigation into the triple shooting.

Officials said the incident ‘sounds and feels like a targeted shooting’, though they also stressed that it is still ‘too early to tell’ exactly what led up to it.

Moss also said:

“We’re trying to figure out why,”

A neighbor who said they witnessed the shooting told NBC6:

“There is no reason for that behavior when we’re all trying to come together for some thing as big as 250 years of freedoms, so why do stuff like that?”

Another resident said:

“It’s a little nerve wracking for no reason really.”

Authorities have also obtained surveillance footage that appears to capture the moment the gunfire began.

Following the news, fans shared messages of grief online.

One person wrote:

“This can’t be true.”

Another said:

“Oh my gosh, rest in peace this is so devastating.”
