Kathy Griffin Goes Public With New Boyfriend 43 Years Younger

Kathy Griffin is giving social media plenty to talk about after introducing a much younger man on Instagram and inviting the internet to weigh in.

The 65-year-old comedian appeared on her Instagram feed walking hand-in-hand with her apparent new partner, with both dressed in coordinated black looks as they strolled down the street.

Griffin hasn’t shared much about the blond man’s identity beyond revealing his age.

“He’s 22. Have at it, internet,” [fire emoji].

As expected, the post quickly drew a flood of reactions, ranging from supportive cheers to criticism.

“You only get one go around…have fun while you’re doing it!!!!”

“Get it girl!”

“Yessss queen!”

“Madonna did it, why can’t you,”

Not everyone was enthusiastic about the relationship reveal, though.

“Remember when you admitted the age gap in your last marriage was a bad idea lol.”

This isn’t unfamiliar territory for Griffin, who has previously been in relationships with younger men.

Her former husband, Randy Bick, was 18 years younger than she was. Griffin filed for divorce in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences, and the split was finalized in January 2025.

She later reflected on another romance in an essay for The Cut, where she discussed falling for a 23-year-old man before deciding the age gap made the relationship difficult to sustain.

“I really was in love with him. He touched my heart,”

“He’s so young that he didn’t have this baggage. And I just knew that my baggage was gonna get in the way.”

That said, Griffin now appears to be embracing another relationship with someone in his early 20s. It’s unclear how long they’ve been together, and she has not publicly confirmed his name.

Back in May, she appeared to softly introduce another man on Instagram with a caption that was later removed.

“We’re insta official. Deal with it,”

Her latest relationship update wasn’t the only announcement she made for her Instagram followers.

In a separate post, the Suddenly Susan actress shared that she would be appearing as a guest judge on Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars, which premiered on July 9 with Griffin among the special guests joining the inaugural season.

“yes gurrl, I’m one of the guest judges for the PREMIERE of Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars! I had a blast and best believe these ladies put in the werk!”
